Anonymous v. Bakery Site
Case Synopsis
After delivering gas canisters to a warehouse, our client suffered life-changing injuries while leaving the facility. As he exited using a dolly, he struck his head on a piece of machinery positioned at head height near the doorway.
The defendants argued that he should have seen the hazard because he had walked past it when he entered. However, we demonstrated that numerous cords and wiring left across the floor distracted our client from the overhead danger, creating an unreasonably hazardous condition that directly contributed to the accident.
Many attorneys declined to pursue the claim because liability appeared difficult to prove. Insider Accident Lawyers accepted the challenge and aggressively litigated the matter, successfully defeating the defendant’s motion for summary judgment and preserving our client’s right to have his case heard.
Our client suffered a traumatic brain injury, significant shoulder injuries, and complications following shoulder surgery. We successfully established that the defendant remained legally responsible not only for the original injuries but also for the foreseeable complications arising from medically necessary treatment.
Result: The case ultimately resolved for $750,000, delivering justice in a claim many believed could not be won.
